Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations
including payroll, statutory compliance, employee relations, performance management, learning &
development, and organizational culture. This role requires a strategic thinker who can also be hands-on
in implementing HR processes, ensuring compliance, and building people-centric initiatives that drive
business growth and employee satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee lifecycle management (onboarding to exit).
Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy in salary disbursements, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory
requirements.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory filings, HR policies, and audits.
Draft, review, and update HR policies in line with regulatory and business needs.
Design and manage the Performance Management System (PMS) including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback
mechanisms.
Partner with leadership to identify high-potential talent and succession planning.
Drive Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives to enhance skills and capabilities across the workforce.
Build and implement employee engagement programs to promote motivation, retention, and workplace satisfaction.
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management for conflict resolution and grievance handling.
Align HR strategy with business goals, providing insights on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent
strategy.
Lead HR analytics and provide data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive change management and organizational effectiveness.
Required skills & qualifications
Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
4-6 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to HR operations, compliance, payroll, and
talent management.
In-depth knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliances, and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, coordination, and people management skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in HRMS tools, payroll software, MS Excel, and reporting.
Experience in a startup, media, or tech-driven environment
