Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations

including payroll, statutory compliance, employee relations, performance management, learning &

development, and organizational culture. This role requires a strategic thinker who can also be hands-on

in implementing HR processes, ensuring compliance, and building people-centric initiatives that drive

business growth and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee lifecycle management (onboarding to exit).

  • Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy in salary disbursements, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory

  • requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory filings, HR policies, and audits.

  • Draft, review, and update HR policies in line with regulatory and business needs.

  • Design and manage the Performance Management System (PMS) including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback

  • mechanisms.

  • Partner with leadership to identify high-potential talent and succession planning.

  • Drive Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives to enhance skills and capabilities across the workforce.

  • Build and implement employee engagement programs to promote motivation, retention, and workplace satisfaction.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management for conflict resolution and grievance handling.

  • Align HR strategy with business goals, providing insights on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent

  • strategy.

  • Lead HR analytics and provide data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive change management and organizational effectiveness.

Required skills & qualifications

  • Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).

  • 4-6 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to HR operations, compliance, payroll, and

  • talent management.

  • In-depth knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliances, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and people management skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in HRMS tools, payroll software, MS Excel, and reporting.

  • Experience in a startup, media, or tech-driven environment
