Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Finance / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to
lead our financial operations and drive the company’s financial planning, risk management, and long-
term growth strategy. As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will oversee all aspects of
finance, accounting, compliance, fundraising, and investor relations.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business goals.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with statutory regulations and accounting
standards.
Lead fundraising initiatives, including equity, debt, and strategic investment partnerships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Provide strategic input to the CEO and board on business performance, expansion plans, and risk
mitigation.
Drive cost optimization, margin improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Monitor and manage working capital, capital expenditures, and treasury functions.
Establish and enforce strong internal controls, processes, and compliance frameworks.
Supervise finance, accounting, legal, and compliance teams; build and scale finance talent as needed.
Lead the company’s financial due diligence in M&A or JV opportunities.
Required skills & qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably with 3-5 years in a CFO or Head of
Finance role.
Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, and strategic financial planning.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, taxation, compliance, and Indian/International accounting
standards.
Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
High integrity, strong analytical mindset, and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
